Hi! I'm Megan Walrod.
I've been writing my entire life. I was born to two writers and published authors. Writing is in my blood! It’s my passion, my profession and one of my super powers.
I'm an award-winning author, copywriter and business coach. Over the past decade I've supported hundreds of women entrepreneurs build profitable and purposeful businesses. I've supported clients in writing sales pages that generated $6- and $7-figures; books and chapters for compilation books (one of those books won multiple awards); and stories that touched the lives of thousands.
Recently, I co-authored a book with adolescent girls entitled, "We Have Something To Say: True Stories From Adolescent Girls Growing Up In The Slums Of Kampala."
Now I'm excited to explore what else is possible with my super power of writing and turn my book into a NYT Bestseller!
Through all of my writing and work runs the golden thread of my mission:
To empower women to realize that they are the authors of their own lives, and can choose to write stories that limit or liberate themselves.
My mission is now being carried forward in my novel...
which delivers important messages for women (including myself) that often can’t be received by the rational mind.
Which is why they’re being shared through a fun, deep, engaging, sexy romance and heroine’s journey.
These messages include insight into how to:
- Be in relationship without giving ourselves away
- Value ourselves and the journey that we’ve been on and are on
- Lean into and trust our unique creative expression
- Trust – and follow – our desires
- Access our depths – our emotional nature – and excavate the gems and
wisdom as medicine for our own healing and transformation and as contributions to others
My intention is for my novel to ignite a movement of women willing to rewrite their stories, so they can emerge as the heroines of their own lives. I know our world will be a kinder and more sustainable place when more women are tapped into their unique gifts that can only be creatively expressed when they are authors of their own lives.
